ET Wants a Home in San Diego County

ET Wants a Home in San Diego County: A Real Estate Professional’s Guide to Selling to Aliens

Every real estate market has its unique buyers. First-time buyers. Investors. Retirees. Military families.

And now… apparently… extraterrestrials.

After several unexplained lights over San Diego County, local agents have begun asking the important question:

What if ET wants to buy a house?

Location, Location… Planet

Aliens are just like everyone else—they want the perfect neighborhood.

  • La Jolla: Ocean views perfect for parking a submarine-shaped spacecraft.
  • Rancho Santa Fe: Plenty of privacy. Your nearest neighbor probably won’t notice a flying saucer landing at 2 a.m.
  • Fallbrook: Large lots mean plenty of room for crop circles without upsetting the HOA.
  • Escondido: Warm weather, great tacos, and enough sunshine to recharge just about any spaceship.

Financing from the Milky Way

One question remains…

Do alien buyers need a mortgage?

Maybe.

Perhaps the Bank of Alpha Centauri offers 0% financing for the first 500 light-years.

Or maybe they simply pay in gold, platinum, or a mysterious crystal that powers entire galaxies.

The escrow company may have a few extra forms to complete.

Home Inspection

Earth inspectors check roofs, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Alien inspectors?

  • “Does the teleportation room function properly?”
  • “Has this home ever have an abduction?”
  • “Are there enough charging stations for the anti-gravity vehicles?”
  • “Will the neighbors complain if our pets have six legs?”

HOA Concerns

Imagine explaining HOA rules to an alien.

“Yes, your spaceship has to fit in the garage.”

“No, you can’t replace your lawn with glowing blue moss.”

“And absolutely no crop circles in the common area.”

Some rules simply transcend galaxies.

What Features Would ET Love?

  • Smart homes controlled by voice… or telepathy.
  • Solar panels (they’ve been using solar power for centuries).
  • ADUs for visiting relatives from Andromeda.
  • Large garages with extra-tall doors.
  • Views of the night sky… because sometimes it’s nice to wave at home.

The Open House

Picture the scene.

A UFO quietly lands across the street.

Three little green buyers float through the front door.

Instead of asking, “How old is the roof?”

They ask…

“Which room has the strongest Wi-Fi signal for interstellar communication?”

Reasonable question.

Closing Day

Escrow is complete.

Keys are exchanged.

The moving truck never arrives because they simply beam the furniture directly into the living room.

Thirty seconds later…

The neighbors are posting on Facebook:

“Did anyone else see a flying saucer over the cul-de-sac?”

Final Thoughts

San Diego County has always attracted buyers from all over the world. If the next wave happens to come from another world, we’re ready.

Great weather, beautiful beaches, amazing communities, and some of the best real estate in the galaxy.

So if you happen to see a UFO hovering over your neighborhood…

Don’t panic.

It might just be another buyer looking for the perfect place to call Earth.

And remember: In today’s market, multiple offers are tough enough. Let’s hope the aliens don’t start bidding over asking price!
